In this role as a Procurement Consultant, your main focus will be on Procurement. You will lead sub projects within client engagements, work independently and in teams, and use your analytical skills to structure and analyse client problems, reporting findings and results. You will build relationships with external clients and internal peers and contribute to the EY SC&O team by developing project proposals, solutions, trainings, and thought leadership. As a (Senior) Consultant, you will balance internal and external responsibilities, comprising client work, business development support, operational and personal development. Specific responsibilities include: Build, maintain and strengthen relationships to become a trusted point of contact within Procurement Deliver Procurement projects for industry-leading clients in and outside the Netherlands, within a multi-disciplinary team Deliver solutions for complex challenges in Procurement (e.g., sustainability regulations and compliance, spend analysis, and cost optimization) Contribute to or lead a workstream within a project and manage activities to complete deliverables Contribute to and be an active member of a core project team, often with colleagues from different parts of EY Contribute to the development of proposals to showcase leading practices Maintain a personal development program to continually enhance technical and consulting skills Grow people leadership experience through leading as part of client and internal teams Job requirements
Requirements include: 2-5 years’ work experience in a Procurement-related environment (Consulting or business) A master’s degree preferably in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management Analytical and structured working style; strong conceptual thinking and driving motivation Proactive and energetic with innovative qualities for high-quality work delivered in short timeframes Collaborative team player able to work within cross-functional teams across countries and departments Results oriented with focus on delivering high-quality value to clients and continuous improvement Proficiency in project management, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines while keeping clients informed Fluent in English and Dutch Already interested?
