Job Summary
Financial, planning & analysis professional capable of contributing analytical and strategic support to all levels of the pSemi organization. Support Finance and Business in driving future profit, growth, business performance and strategic planning. Assist in generating meaningful reporting and analytics and maintaining FP&A tools and processes. Support variance analysis of monthly financial and operational results. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. Requires strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
This position has responsibility for:
Planning
Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting to MuRata headquarters
Assist to update and maintain financials in Planning Software; including structure and maintenance of the tool itself
Support FP&A Director and Team in creating meaningful PowerPoint presentations with business analysis and insight for monthly Executive meetings
Use and further develop analytical skills to gather and model data to contribute to effective decision making and robust planning & analysis
With guidance, provide support to business partners as assigned in budgeting / forecasting cycles and monthly / quarterly financial review, and itemized support as needed
Participate in cross-functional projects to support pSemi business in common goals
Run and prepare for presentation reports using systems in support of FP&A Team and business leadership while contributing to the reasons for the results
Create and maintain FP&A process documentation
Support FP&A and Accounting teams with ad-hoc projects
Performance Management
Create and maintain standardized financials and statistical reports
Provide variance analysis and business insight of monthly financial and operational results
Provide internal reporting support to FP&A team
Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
Typically requires 0-2 years of experience in FP&A depending on education level and experience
Experience with ERP or financial planning system
Excellent business analysis, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Personal qualities which include being a results-oriented, bright, resourceful, service-driven finance professional who can manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
Willingness to challenge the status quo in order to enhance productivity, processes and procedures
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Sense of urgency
Proficient Microsoft Office user; Advanced skills in Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adaptive Insights and Oracle
Experience in the Semiconductor industry
Education Requirements
BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Management; Master’s degree preferred
