We invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Senior Tax Associate at our well-established CPA firm specializing in international tax services for Japanese clients. This is a remote, direct-hire opportunity that allows you to work from the comfort of your home while tackling complex and engaging tax-related challenges. Ideal for professionals residing in the PST or MST time zones, this role demands a proactive approach to handling tax filings, research, and client management for a range of entities including corporations and high-net-worth individuals. Fluency in Japanese is a fundamental requirement, enhancing our firm's tailored services to our clients.
Salary:
DOE per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare Federal and multi-state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcy cases, and trusts and estates. Resolve complex accounting and tax issues. Perform both basic and complex tax research. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Identify opportunities for tax planning and consulting, proposing innovative solutions. Collaborate closely with partners on various challenging engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Minimum Position Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration. At least 2 years' tax experience in a public accounting firm. CPA license holder or actively working towards obtaining a CPA license. Strong analytical, organizational, and detailed-oriented skills. Proven ability to understand complex tax and accounting issues. Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the need for sponsorship at any point in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated advanced competencies in technical tax skills and work quality. Self-directed with an entrepreneurial work ethic and the ability to operate independently. Skills: Exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to meet tight deadlines and provide services timely.
