Job Summary We are seeking a senior accountant to join our Tax Credit Investments accounting team. This role requires strong working knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements. The successful candidate will support the accounting and financial reporting for solar renewable projects and associated investment funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information to senior management and investors. Experience in solar renewables and/or tax credit investments is a strong plus. Based in Las Vegas, NV, KeyState has additional offices in Wilmington, DE, Burlington, VT, and Denver, CO. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for renewable energy funds and projects. Prepare monthly investor journal entries. Prepare and enter all Fund cash journal entries Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, including lease accounting, partnership structures, and special purpose entities common in solar projects. Tax & Investor Reporting

Assist with company and client tax filings, including tax credits (Investment Tax Credits, Production Tax Credits) and related compliance requirements. Maintain a customer-oriented approach, providing transparency into financial information on an ad-hoc basis. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax reviews.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

Assist the Group Assistant Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations. Help develop and maintain standardized accounting policies and procedures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Tax Credit Investments finance team and the Corporate accounting team to provide financial insights and support business decisions. Communicate financial results and key metrics to senior management and business unit leaders, as necessary.

Minimum Education, Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field. CPA and/or industry experience required. At least three years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of US GAAP. Experience working with external auditors and tax professionals. Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate clearly with both technical and financial stakeholders. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and collaborate internally and externally. Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Proficient in MS Office with expert level skill in Excel. Experience with MS Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and/or Appfolio, a plus.
