The Corporate Development group at The Walt Disney Company is a team of approximately ten professionals with backgrounds in media & technology, investment banking, private equity, and consulting, who serve as in-house advisors to the company’s executive leadership on key inorganic growth opportunities globally and who negotiate and execute M&A transactions. The department’s activities and accomplishments have contributed to the growth and success of many of the company’s business units across the Disney Entertainment, Sports, and Disney Experiences segments. Examples of work completed include: Acquisitions: 21st Century Fox, Hulu, BAMTech, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar Joint Ventures: Merger of Star India with Viacom18, combination of Hulu + Live TV and Fubo Divestitures: Fox’s 22 Regional Sports Networks, Endemol Shine, FoxNext Games Investments: Minority stakes in Epic Games, Professional Lacrosse League What You Will Do Senior Analysts play a key role in evaluating and executing acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and developing new business opportunities. The position involves building complex financial models to support company valuation and structuring, developing market and business performance forecasts, analyzing and synthesizing data from various sources, and communicating information clearly in oral and written presentations for senior leadership. Senior Analysts must employ excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills while building industry knowledge within media and entertainment. The role requires multitasking across multiple projects with urgent timelines while maintaining professional excellence. Actual offers depend on internal equity, geographic location, experience, and skills. The package may include bonuses and long-term incentives, along with comprehensive benefits.
