Purpose

through their leadership in building a best-in-class sales function to support our growing H&W targeted brands with an emphasis in – but not exclusively focused on - the Natural Channel, which is currently a white space for BBU. This leader should come to the role bringing a deep understanding of the Natural Channel ecosystem including relationships with customers, brokers, and distributors. Their leadership will spearhead and set the tone for our business development and growth for the portfolio. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for the full oversight of the H&W portfolio beyond the Natural Channel ensuring the broad success of the portfolio in Club, Grocery, and Mass. This candidate will report to the VP of H&W, but partner closely with the leads of each platform area and brand as well as collaborate with the Sales Leaders with the BBU Bakehouse system. Essential Duties and tasks in support of the H&W Portfolio:

Build BBU’s strategic approach and operational architecture for growing our H&W Brands. Build and maintain productive relationships across the sales ecosystem Collaborate with general management and brokers to drive sales opportunities and coverage. Confer with senior management to plan sales objectives. Manage sales and profit responsibilities for H&W products across accounts and channels. Develop and present quarterly and annual business plans to maximize potential within key accounts. Implement targeted strategies to enhance growth and distribution. Provide leadership and direction across all assigned account activities, influencing both short- and long-term business decisions. Identify new business opportunities by leveraging data-driven insights and customer relationships. Partner with supply chain functions (bakeries, shipping, distribution, and customer service) to ensure seamless operations. Manage deductions by reconciling transactions, including write-offs, chargebacks, and payments. Evaluate the market position of competing products, services and organizations Work closely with the V.P. of Marketing to develop, establish and direct channel and new distribution strategy Specialized Skills And Knowledge

Deep understanding of the Natural Channel with strong existing relationships with specific Natural Channel retailers, brokers, and distributors. Ability to create and implement change in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Key Skills

Experience with start up businesses and brands. Comfortable working in a dynamic, start-up environment. Must have a proven sales track record in new product/new market environment Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level. Ability to design strategies and translate them into powerful action plans with strong execution. Results-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding goals. Willingness to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done Outstanding selling abilities with excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong project management and analytical skills, including financial reporting and P&L management. Consumer-centric decision-making. Travel to customer locations, HQs, and industry events as required for business needs. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time Experience And Education Requirements

BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field required, MBA is preferred. Professional with 10+ years of sales leadership experience, that demonstrates competencies in sales management, customer management, or category management.
