Head of Procurement
to their team. The organization is growing rapidly and offers a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. The Head of Procurement will play a key role in shaping sourcing strategy, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving operational excellence. The salary range for this position is $175k - $180k, based on experience. Position Overview
The Head of Procurement is a senior leadership role overseeing procurement strategy, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration. The individual will lead a team, ensure supply chain continuity, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance. Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize cost, supply continuity, and quality. Lead and mentor a team of buyers and planners, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals. Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement supplier performance metrics. Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Quality teams to align procurement with business needs. Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and reporting. Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and compliance across procurement operations. Required Experience and Skills
8+ years of procurement leadership experience in food and beverage manufacturing. Strong ERP knowledge (VAI or similar). Proven success in supplier management, cost modeling, and contract negotiations. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience with food safety standards and regulatory compliance. Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or certifications are preferred. Benefits
