About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Security/CISO to lead its enterprise-wide security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive information security risk management program. This role requires a strong technical background in areas such as GRC, disaster recovery management, identity and access management, and cyber operations. The CISO will be accountable for the daily security operations and the strategic execution of security roadmaps to protect the company's data and systems from evolving cybersecurity threats. Collaboration with various teams to develop incident response plans, balancing security risk management with business priorities, and fostering a culture of security awareness are also key responsibilities. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Security/CISO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with a CISSP certification. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in information cybersecurity, preferably in the healthcare sector, is required. The role demands a leader with a blend of technical expertise and leadership qualities, including the ability to anticipate future challenges, mentor a team, and effectively communicate security strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security technologies, cloud security, and experience with security best practices. They should also be well-versed in relevant regulations such as HIPAA, NIST, and PCI, and have a proven track record of leading incident response efforts and managing security risks associated with third-party vendors.
