The Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing plays a pivotal role in delivering sourcing initiatives that support the company’s indirect spend categories, with significant exposure to Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Commercial services. You will lead smaller sourcing projects with limited oversight and take ownership of workstreams on larger initiatives, including RFP execution, vendor analysis, financial modeling, and contract management. As a Senior Analyst, you will build subject-matter expertise in assigned categories, serve as a go-to resource within the team, and begin mentoring junior Analysts. The role offers visibility to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership while providing a clear growth path toward management-level responsibilities. Essential Functions

Project & Workstream Ownership Lead sourcing workstreams and manage smaller projects from planning through execution. Structure and carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis to support vendor selection and contracting. Participate in cross-functional initiatives with guidance. Triangulate results and sense-check analysis to ensure accuracy and quality. Support end-to-end RFx processes: develop bid documentation, coordinate the Project Team, support the evaluation of responses, and prepare recommendations for Leadership. Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders during contractual discussions, escalating appropriately and ensuring alignment. Provide assistance during evaluation of vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Financial Analysis & Business Case Development Support internal stakeholders with business case development. Build financial and cost/benefit analyses to evaluate sourcing scenarios. Provide recommendations that balance cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and operational needs. Communication & Presentations Prepare polished, audience-appropriate presentations and reports for Leadership. Contribute to Board-level and senior management presentations. Communicate confidently and clearly with stakeholders, understanding appropriate levels of disclosure and context. Work effectively across departments to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Begin mentoring and providing guidance to junior Analysts, sharing best practices and supporting their development. Process Improvement & Best Practices Lead small-scale process improvements and evaluate tools or technologies that can enhance sourcing outcomes. Actively contribute to embedding sourcing best practices within the department. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 4+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Procurement or related roles Experience in Indirect Procurement, particularly IT sourcing, strongly preferred. Airline or aerospace industry experience is a plus. Experience with contracting, vendor negotiations, and RFP processes required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical skills with ability to independently structure and execute financial analyses and business cases. Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analysis and presentation tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to senior audiences. Ability to build trust and act as a go-to resource in assigned categories. Demonstrate sound judgment, offering well-reasoned recommendations that balance analysis with practical feasibility. Motivated to improve processes, adopt new tools, and contribute to team best practices. Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
