We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of the company’s direct and indirect taxes at the consolidated and entity levels. In this role, you will track and implement new legislation and tax policy changes, and manage research and planning for new projects and processes. Collaboration with Legal, Technical Accounting, and other cross-functional teams is essential. Responsibilities Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of company federal tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filing of all tax forms. Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns and other business-related filings. Own the preparation and filing of company credits and incentives, including R&D credits. Implement and maintain processes related to indirect taxes, including Sales and Use, Franchise, Property, and others. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes, including transfer pricing studies and cross-border documentation. Manage external consultants involved in the preparation of the company's US federal income tax return and other tax documents. Plan for and develop the overall return calendar, coordinating timing and inputs. Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits, including preparing responses and creating schedules. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate their effects to management, and create strategies to capitalize on changes. Support internal audits and special tax-related projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 8+ years of compliance, audit, research, and planning experience. Proven ability to collaborate with Legal, Accounting, and Business teams. Strong knowledge of tax codes, compliance, and procedures for corporations. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements. Experience with a variety of tax operations and process improvements. Experience with R&D Credit and Filing processes. CPA certification. What Makes You Stand Out Netsuite system experience. Experience with worldwide intracompany indirect tax issues. Experience with marketplace facilitator laws, digital goods, sales, and use taxes. Strong analytical skills. Collaborative orientation. Proficiency in tax research and policy changes.
