Full-Time About the Opportunity A cutting-edge technology company is seeking a
Director of Revenue Accounting
to lead its revenue recognition and billing operations. This role is ideal for a CPA with deep experience in ASC 606, contract review, and revenue operations—especially those coming from Big 4 or top 10 public accounting firms. The Director will oversee revenue accounting policies, ensure compliance with GAAP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scalable revenue processes in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Lead revenue recognition under ASC 606 across multiple revenue streams Review customer contracts and assess accounting implications Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures Oversee billing operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to support deal structuring Support audit and SOX compliance related to revenue Implement process improvements and automation initiatives Qualifications CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally in a high-growth or public company environment Big 4 or top 10 public accounting firm experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue operations Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience with ERP systems and revenue automation tools a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary and annual performance bonus Equity participation for qualified candidates Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off Flexible hybrid schedule (2 days/month in-office) Cordia by Cherry Bekaert is a leading national recruiting and staffing firm.
