Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and contractors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide a welcoming and professional presence while supporting security-related procedures and protocols. Utilizing your customer service skills, you will address inquiries and provide information as needed, all while maintaining a strong focus on communication and integrity. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies for an aerospace and defense location Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor entry and exit, and assist with visitor management processes Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and team members to address inquiries and provide information as needed Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel as appropriate What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience Must be at least 21 years of age Customer service experience is preferred Access control or badge experience is preferred Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
