Our team is passionate about creating environments that support health and wellness. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Design Manager to join our dynamic, integrated team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in healthcare planning, design and coordination, and will be able to drive projects from conceptual design through to completion.
Primary Responsibilities
Foster a productive and collaborative team dynamic with internal team members and design consultants.
Support business development, meeting with clients, winning work and establishing early project goals and direction.
Manage documentation throughout the entitlements and permitting process.
Research and knowledge of code requirements and building materials.
Create and manage the design schedule in collaboration with the superintendent and construction schedule.
Work with other team members to develop a project from conceptual design to record drawings.
Prepare renderings and presentations for client and office meetings.
Coordinate and produce project documents for all phases including programming, developing design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, sections, details, elevations, schedules, and specifications.
Review submittals and collaborate with construction project managers and field staff on constructability issues during Construction Administration.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited school
10-year minimum relevant professional experience
Proficiency in Revit and ability to produce and coordinate Contract Documents
Ability and willingness to travel
Effective verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Motivation to learn
Experience in 3D modeling and BIM collision software
