As a Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards. What you’ll do

Architect and design remote testing infrastructure. Design and implement hardware and software for small-footprint automation devices including embedded systems. Develop and implement strategic plans for remote lab evolution. Drive continuous improvement of lab infrastructure, tools, and processes. Collaborate with product and engineering teams. Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards. Develop and maintain KPIs to track lab performance. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop resolution strategies. Leverage GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and other AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and drive innovation in automation and tooling. Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (required). Hands-on experience in hardware design and debugging with Raspberry Pi or other embedded devices (required). Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and network engineering (required). Extensive experience in system architecture and automation platforms (required). Strong hands-on coding skills in C/C++ and Python (required). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (required). Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) (required). Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field with 3 years of software engineering or related experience. Experience creating accessible digital experiences and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and accessibility best practices. Experience with consumer electronics platforms (Smart TV, Set Top Box, Streaming devices). Full stack application/software development experience. Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of networking and security best practices. Primary Location

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
