FOOD: Pack Meal Kits for the Lucky Duck Food & Water Initiative
Help feed hundreds of San Diego's unhoused residents through the Lucky Duck Foundation's Food & Water Initiative. This initiative has distributed more than 2 million meal kits to our unsheltered neighbors since the pandemic began and relies on volunteers like you to keep it going. All food bagged at the project will be distributed by the Lucky Duck Foundation within the week, feeding those in need. Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Key Responsibilities: Packing wrapped food items and bottled water into bags Skills & Qualifications: No prior experience needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced assembly line environment Ability to stand for the full shift; bending and lifting may be required Volunteers under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian Training Provided: On-site training provided at the beginning of the shift Attire:
Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that is comfortable. Dress in layers as the project is in a warehouse and temperatures do vary Physical Requirements:
You must be able to stand for the duration of the project. Some positions require bending and lifting to restock supplies. The heaviest item would be a case of water Accessibility:
