Overview
The Hartford, CT office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and at least five (5+) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, with experience in employment law and products liability, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required. Lewis Brisbois' General Liability Practice consists of over 600 attorneys nationwide who defend a wide range of general liability matters, including property and personal injury claims, for businesses and insured or self-insured individuals. Our trial-focused team handles catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation, and has been recognized in industry publications for notable defense verdicts. Conduct legal research and writing in support of insurance defense matters. Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Handle hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials as part of general liability defense. Qualifications
Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required. At least five (5+) years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including employment law and products liability exposure. Experience with case management, motion practice, discovery, and trial practice.
