We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team!
Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms for securing access to critical HPC system resources through robust permission management, ensuring compliance with the Agency’s security policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Implement access controls and permissions to secure access to HPC system resources Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards Position Required Skills
Experience using the Linux CLI Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management Experience implementing Access Controls and permissions including RBAC and HBAC in a Linux environment Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming language Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software components Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins Experience with Git Source Control System Position Desired Skills
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd Familiar with IAM solutions such as KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies Qualifications An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
