Prototype Build Engineer - Associate #1037224 The Prototype Build Engineer will be responsible for managing all prototype build activities including developing and communicating build plans based on vehicle specifications, coordinating purchasing, tracking development, and program timing for engine systems parts. This role requires leading multiple teams to ensure all program deliverables are met and addressing any issues affecting build quality, engineering design, manufacturing process, and timing. The Prototype Build Engineer must have the ability to direct issue resolution at all levels. Responsibilities
Develop and communicate prototype build plans based on vehicle specifications. Coordinate purchasing and track development and program timing for engine system parts. Lead multiple teams to ensure all program deliverables are met. Identify and resolve issues affecting build quality, engineering design, manufacturing processes, and timing. Direct issue resolution at all levels as needed. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, etc.) 0-3 years engineering experience Basic knowledge of vehicle build processes Fluency in Microsoft Office applications Strong leadership and excellent communication skills Ability to prepare presentations and present to all levels Self-starter able to manage multiple programs and communicate status to management Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Mechatronics, etc.) Formula SAE experience or relevant automotive internship experience Additional Information
