Applies practical experience and industry expertise to execute a specific Wealth administrative function, while focusing on compliance and risk mitigation.## **Primary Responsibilities:*** Analyze and interpret Wealth documents and apply fiduciary, legal and statutory knowledge and experience to execute certain administrative functions.* Communicate with internal and external business partners and related service partners as required.
Serve as primary subject matter expert for a key administrative process, providing guidance to less experienced personnel on the process.* Escalate or resolve non-standard or high risk exceptions as appropriate; serve as escalation point for activities falling within subject matter expertise to support their timely resolution.* Work independently to complete processing of complex Wealth administrative requirements in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.* Contribute ideas for process improvements to improve efficiency of activities.* Identify, report and escalate all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities to ensure management awareness of them.* Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.* Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.* Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.* Complete other related duties as assigned.## **Scope of Responsibilities:**This position serves in a middle office environment as part of the Administrative Services Unit.
