Starting salary $25/Hour and up The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for tracking inventory activity, providing root-cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and monitoring all inventory transactions throughout the enterprise. The position will also seek continuous improvements in inventory processes and track inventory process failures. Inventory results and process deviations will be reported to the Leadership Team to establish process modifications, improvements in training and accountability . Results will be tracked, and corrective actions implemented where needed. Set up batches for physical inventory activities, research variances and perform reconciliation. Results will be reported to the Leadership Team. Monitor and report any inventory expiration risk within the enterprise. Enforce FEFO (first expiring, first out) stock rotation. Set up strategic transfers to ensure short-dated product is dispensed before expiring. Monitor inventory adjustments and perform root-cause analysis to understand why the adjustment occurred. Perform periodic audits of receiving paperwork compared to replenished POs compared to invoice to identify any deficiencies in accuracy. Monitor CPR+ for negative inventory balances. Perform root-cause analysis and report findings to the Leadership Team. Provide back-up for purchasing specialist during their out of office time. Responsibility for all AMI (additional manufacturer information) monitoring and ordering. Submitting drug supply orders in the supplier online portal. Responsibility for coordinating and processing enterprise intercompany transfers when requested by stakeholders. Responsibility for managing enterprise stagnant drugs, transferring drug to location(s) that will dispense prior to drug expiration. Establish baseline metrics and track progress. Performs other tasks as assigned. Position Qualifications Education/Learning Experience Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Desired: Bachelor’s degree or higher education preferred. Work Experience Required: 2-3 years of inventory experience. Desired: Previous pharmacy inventory experience Skills/Knowledge Required: Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Desired: CPR+ or other inventory/dispensing systems
