Crisis Mobile Specialist (BHT) Responsibilities

The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls dispatched by the dedicated crisis dispatch provider. The role triages the immediate crisis situation, recommends the appropriate intervention, and helps the individual in crisis transition to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and governing rules set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse (ODMHSA) and Oklahoma State Health Department (OSHD). Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required. An Associate Degree is preferred. Experience in the behavioral health field preferred. Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred. Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, Registrations

Must have one of the following certifications upon hire:

C-PRSS Certification (for staff who identify as being in recovery) from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse; or Certified Case Manager Certification from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
