How You Will Support the Team: The SP Compliance Manager (CM) supports the bank’s Strategic Partnership (SP) relationships by working closely with Strategic Partner Managers (SPMs) to oversee contractual and regulatory compliance requirements for the Bank’s SPs. Understanding regulatory compliance and Strategic Partnerships is essential to managing the Strategic Partnerships Program. Responsibilities

Be the primary contact for compliance-related information and activities for assigned Strategic Partner Programs. Guide assigned Strategic Partner Programs through building and/or maintaining a quality Compliance Management System that follows regulatory guidelines and Bank standards. Execute the Bank’s 2nd line CMS for assigned SP Programs (Risk Assessment, Monitoring & Testing, Issue Management, Complaints, etc.). Report to Executive Management and inform support teams of key regulatory compliance developments related to assigned SP Programs, identifying their impact to the Bank. Ensure that existing and proposed Bank and Strategic Partner Program practices, policies, procedures, loan pricing, origination software, marketing materials, customer correspondence, documents and disclosures comply with federal and state regulations. Stay updated on federal and state regulatory changes related to consumer lending and privacy; communicate changes to Bank management and Strategic Partners. Assist in addressing internal and external audit findings and help prepare responses as requested. Assist in refining and executing compliance monitoring programs to test the Bank’s and SP Programs’ controls and procedures. Support Business Development in launching new products by helping SPs understand launch requirements, documenting key compliance risks, and coordinating across internal functions for smooth launches. Assist in resolving findings from audits, testing, and examinations if any. Help the Bank comply with BSA/AML requirements for SP activities (e.g., FinCEN 314(a) requests, OFAC scrubs, BSA document management, reporting, and risk assessments related to compliance areas). Be aware of applicable regulatory changes related to consumer lending, security, and privacy, and provide guidance to SPs accordingly. Provide regulatory guidance in responses that are understandable to relevant stakeholders and SPs. Review and approve customer-facing correspondence, including marketing materials. Oversee risk management and risk assessment processes for assigned SPs, including conducting and documenting comprehensive risk assessments to address elevated risk areas. Balance the Bank’s growth and profitability goals with the need to manage consumer protection risk in SP programs. Ensure SPs are compliant with all regulatory requirements of their agreements with the Bank. Assist with ongoing relationship management for SP programs, maintaining knowledge of SPs’ product offerings, sales promotions, marketing materials, business operations, credit underwriting, and CMS. Performs other duties as assigned. You would be a GREAT fit with these skills: Self-motivated and hardworking; able to handle multiple functions in a fast-paced environment. Experience in processing consumer loan applications and stipulations is a plus but not required. Basic math and computer skills for income calculation. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and make sound decisions. Willingness to work on various projects as needed. Preferred Level of Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience with consumer lending required. Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Enterprise Risk Professional, or similar certification preferred, or the ability to retain after hire. Compliance Manager experience at a financial institution or examiner experience with a financial regulatory agency (FDIC or equivalent) required. Proficient knowledge of federal banking laws applicable to consumer lending required. Good people-management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team or individually. Ability to analyze complex issues with strong attention to detail; identify and drive strategic solutions. Skill in coordinating with other departments to achieve mutual goals between the Bank and its SPs. Assertive self-starter with strong professional verbal and written skills, highly organized, able to work independently to finish assigned projects.
