The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, and a proven track record of managing complex operational workflows.****Responsibilities:***** Exchange Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our cryptocurrency exchange, ensuring all trading activities, including order matching, settlement, and reconciliation, are executed accurately and efficiently.* Customer Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding process, from initial Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to account creation and activation.* Custody: Ensure the secure and compliant management of digital assets held in custody, including the execution of deposit and withdrawal requests, and the implementation of robust security protocols.* Governance & Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those from the SEC, FinCEN, DFS and other US regulatory bodies.* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.* Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration of new products and services.****Experience & Qualifications:***** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology or a related field.* 10+ years of experience in an operations management role within digital assets, financial services and/or FinTech.
Knowledge of industry frameworks (i.e. ITIL, SOC) is desirable.* Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and its associated operational challenges.* Proven experience with KYC, AML, and other regulatory compliance frameworks.* Familiarity with digital asset custody solutions and best practices.* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.*Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $200,000 - $270,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits.
