Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 5:59 AM Summary The 1099-Contract Investigator is responsible for conducting federal background investigations on a contract basis to support national security and suitability assessments. Conduct fieldwork, including interviews and record retrieval, to produce reports of investigations (ROIs) in compliance with applicable laws, federal standards, and agency regulations. Accept fieldwork assignments across the geographic area of responsibility, with opportunities for temporary duty assignments outside the area. Meet investigative deadlines as assigned by ADC LTD NM. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor in a time-sensitive environment. Monitor, maintain, convey, and appropriately destroy data and documents. Ensure compliance with government and industry standards for quality, integrity, timeliness, and productivity. Maintain compliance with mandatory training, security, and credential requirements. Develop and maintain professional, courteous, and cooperative relationships with ADC employees and contractors. Report trends and updates observed in the field related to the work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Note:
The ADC compensation range reflects potential earnings for working 40 hours per week, starting at the base rate and up to the Premier Contract Investigator rate. Compensation is based on completed cases, not an annual salary.
