Overview
Site Manager (RWR-2025-23226): Bowhead seeks to network with a Site Manager for an upcoming proposal effort to lead structured cabling upgrades at McConnell AFB. Responsibilities
Essential functions will include: Serve as the primary point of contact for all onsite activities. Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with base personnel. Lead project briefings, manage deliverables, and ensure work aligns with contract scope and PWS standards. Supervise teams conducting removal and installation of Cat-6 cabling, racks, and telecom hardware. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and site-specific security requirements. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Years of experience
Minimum 5 years managing telecommunications infrastructure projects, including team supervision and client interaction.
Required skills or certifications
Demonstrated leadership of structured cabling or ISP/OSP projects. Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and military installation protocols. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
