The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, with base pay varying by geographic region, internal equity, knowledge, skills, and experience. Fully remote options from US locations are available. Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid at Gainwell, you will contribute to technology-enabled efforts to help clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve. You will collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions to healthcare challenges and ensure CX standards are represented in proposals and project implementations. Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell meets our clients’ objectives in important areas. Be a knowledgeable bridge between stakeholders, project managers and technical staff to define, develop, document and share business requirements, expected impact and timelines Outline design specifications at the start of a project Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support Customer Experience (CX) goals Verify that all business requirements are met by approving and validating that test results map back to the business requirements Use basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of work Project a strong professional presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, stakeholders and team members Motivate others to action and communicate key business ideas in a digestible way What we're looking for
BA with a minimum of 6 years’ experience eliciting, drafting, managing, and testing requirements from initiation to close 3 or more years of Project Management experience (creating detailed project plans, ramp plans, HRMs, etc.) 3 or more years of Medicaid experience Adept at defining and managing scope, stakeholder expectations, and requirements change management and traceability (RTM) Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills Experience working with relevant programming languages and relational databases Experience with data administration, repository management, database creation techniques, and data warehousing standards, strategies, and tools Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC process Support for Request for Proposal (RFP), Solutioning, Proposal and Demo Process to create and develop CX Reports such as Feedback Survey and inSight Reports as described in RFP and Proposal Process InSight Reporting and BI reporting tool knowledge Preferred Experience
Develop integrated Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) across multiple organizations Strong facilitation skills focused on requirements gathering, deliverable documentation and Requirements Traceability Management (RTM) Working knowledge of supporting CX RFP completion Specialized Skills and Experience
Experience in Medicaid services (NASPO, PBM, Call Center, Provider Enrollment, CEF, etc.) Software Development Life Cycle experience with multiple methodologies, queries and Excel Pivot Tables Requirements gathering, creating deliverable documentation and RTM Visualization and business rules modeling Experience with MS Project, change management and editing tools such as Visio, ALM, CoPilot, PowerPoint Experience with inSight Reporting Experience with multiple methodologies including Waterfall and Agile BI reporting tool knowledge or other DBA experience Soft Skills
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel Team player, creative thinker, strong attention to detail Experience managing risk, good communication and stakeholder management skills Self-starter and self-directed What you should expect in this role
