Overview Associate Director of Transportation and Parking Services VHS Campus – Norfolk, VA. Serve as the head of the VHS Transportation and Parking Services (TPS) operation, providing strategic and operational leadership across all areas of parking management, customer service, facility maintenance, and financial oversight. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, customer-focused services while driving continuous improvement, business process optimization, and collaboration with campus and external partners.

Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of parking and transportation operations, including permit management, facility upkeep, and special event coordination.

Proven ability to manage, train, and develop supervisory and staff teams for effective operations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to manage resources (fiscal, human, technology) to meet organizational goals.

Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational demands.

Expertise in customer service and conflict resolution with a diverse population.

Strong time management, project planning, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in analyzing and reporting data using parking and business management tools.

Some supervisory experience in parking, transportation, or mobility operations.

Management experience in a service-oriented industry overseeing both full-time and part-time employees.

Experience training and developing staff with a focus on safety and accountability.

Experience analyzing data to establish and monitor KPIs related to parking operations and enforcement.

Compensation Annual Salary/Hourly Rate: Salary range between $0 and $57,773 - 80,000.
