Medical Oncologist in Gynecologic Oncology
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Oncologist at the Assistant/Associate/Senior level to join the Department of Gynecologic Oncology. Our GYNONC program is a complete academic practice in terms of research, teaching, and clinical care. We are part of the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state and are involved in translational research and all phases of clinical trials. This role engages in clinical or translational research in conjunction with delivery of clinical services. The position will demonstrate creative activity, including discovery of new knowledge and/or development of new educational techniques. Protected time is available for those who demonstrate capacity to perform clinical or translational research. The successful candidate will have a medical degree or foreign equivalent, plus completion of a residency training program in Internal Medicine and a fellowship training program in Hematology/Oncology. They must be Board eligible or Board certified in Medical Oncology, have a Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one, and be qualified to obtain hospital privileges. The position involves all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. It includes participating in tumor boards, molecular genetics conferences, and other educational activities.
