Dean, Institutional Effectiveness - Tampa, FL The Dean of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for leading institutional academic quality, compliance, governance, and registry functions. This executive role plays a central part in shaping and executing the university's academic administration and regulatory strategy, aligning all efforts with broader institutional goals. The Dean contributes to the strategic direction of the university by overseeing compliance with accrediting and regulatory bodies, enhancing academic quality, and ensuring robust institutional governance. Frequent collaboration with faculty, staff, academic and operational leadership, students, and external regulatory stakeholders. Work Environment
This is a high-performance, fast-paced academic environment with an international footprint. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, cultural agility, and the ability to multi-task across projects while maintaining attention to detail and institutional integrity. Familiarity with international higher education systems and regulatory standards is essential. Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to the Provost/CAO for institutional planning. Lead compliance and accreditation initiatives across all campuses and jurisdictions. Oversee institutional governance structures and committee decision-making processes. Manage academic data, registry operations, and institutional reporting. Collaborate with academic leadership to ensure ongoing program quality and continuous improvement. Ensure policies align with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements. Provide data insights to guide institutional effectiveness and inform strategic improvements. Oversee onboarding and development of new employees in compliance, governance, and quality areas. Promote faculty and staff participation in professional development aligned with institutional goals. Ensure deadlines and reporting obligations are consistently met across relevant departments. Represent the institution at external meetings, conferences, and accreditation events. Execute additional duties as assigned by the Provost. Required Qualifications
Doctorate from an accredited institution. Significant leadership experience in higher education administration. Proven track record of excellence in strategic planning, compliance, and academic governance. Language Requirements
Native or near-native English proficiency required. Proficiency in additional languages (French, German, Spanish) is desirable. Core Competencies
