Job Description: The Center for Advancing Prevention Excellence (CAPE) is an applied Center in CPA. This position, which involves both staff and teaching responsibilities, will be supervised within CAPE with a dual report to the Executive Director of the School of Health and Human Services. The role involves supporting the Center’s research activities, collaborating with the School, and teaching approximately 2 courses per year in human services or related fields. Responsibilities include proposal writing for new projects, applying analytical skills to existing projects, and facilitating collaboration between CAPE and SHHS.
This is a hybrid role based primarily in Reston, Virginia, with some travel to the University of Baltimore campus for meetings and teaching duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a health services field (public health, psychology, social work, counseling, epidemiology, education)
Experience with online instruction (synchronous and asynchronous)
Proven ability to write successful grant proposals
Excellent writing skills
Evaluation skills
Teaching effectiveness and course development experience
