Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under indirect supervision, provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice or for a specified patient population. They lead the medical team and coordinate care for inpatients. They may examine individuals as they are admitted, order x-rays, diagnostic tests, and other lab work; they will also analyze test results, order treatments and medical services, and prescribe medications. CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, TN is searching for a highly qualified, board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our Hospital Employed Group of 87+ physicians and APPs across 3 hospitals. 7 on / 7 off shifts, 11a - 11p, Tuesday to Monday Physician swing shift coverage until midnight No Peds, OB, or Trauma No codes – Rapid Response Team No after hours call Reasonable census Closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists Competitive Base Salary, Commencement Bonus, Quality Incentive Bonus, and Longevity Bonus Full Benefits, CME (5 days off), Professional Dues, and Relocation Reimbursement Relocation Assistance Offered Malpractice Insurance (Modified Claims Made) Cell Phone Stipend Full Benefits Eligibility with CommonSpirit Health NO STATE INCOME TAX!
