Overview: The Security Architect is responsible for designing enterprise and systems security throughout the development lifecycle for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network. Responsibilities: Translate technology and environmental conditions into effective security designs and processes, with a focus on implementing Zero Trust principles. Develop and implement security architectures for enterprise systems throughout the development lifecycle, incorporating Zero Trust principles. Ensure regulatory compliance by translating laws, regulations, and environmental conditions into security designs and processes. Integrate security at every stage of the system and software development lifecycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met. Stay informed about security trends, threats, and best practices. Qualifications Required: AA/AS from an accredited college or university, or substitute with 3+ years experience with any one of the following: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification. Relevant Skills: Zero Trust, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, GitLab, SaaS Security, Palo Alto Networks.
