We are seeking an experienced Designer with strong skills in AutoCAD 3D to join our engineering/design team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional design experience, with a proven background in mechanical/electrical layout and drafting. Experience with

cables
/
MUX
connectors
is highly desirable.
Key
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
2D
and
3D
CAD
drawings
for subsea and offshore cable systems, harnesses, and related components.
Develop and update design documentation, including
schematics,
general
arrangements,
and routing
diagrams .
Work closely with engineers to produce accurate drawings for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
Utilize
AutoCAD
3D
for modeling; knowledge of
3D
solid
modeling
is an advantage.
Ensure compliance with
industry
standards,
customer
requirements,
and
internal
quality procedures .
Coordinate with procurement, production, and project teams to resolve design-related issues.
Review and revise existing designs to improve manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum
5
years’
design
experience
in industrial, subsea, or cable-related projects.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D
&
3D) ; exposure to
3D
solid
modeling
(Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with
PBOF cables
(design, routing, or application) strongly .
Strong knowledge of drafting practices, GD&T, and BOM preparation.
Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Skills
Experience in subsea, offshore, or defense-related projects.
Knowledge of international cable standards and speci?cations.
Hands-on experience in cable routing and termination design.
