Responsibilities include thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order, routinely applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. We are offering a sign on bonus up to $15,000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance. Qualifications include graduating from an approved CVT program, holding a current Radiology License (ARRT), a current Arkansas State License (MRAD:AR), and current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications. Additionally, four (4) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Overview: As our Cardiovascular Technologist III at CHI St Vincent, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. Every day you'll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including, but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices, and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
