Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Part-time
Valle Verde Pediatrics, in partnership with Pediatrics Associates, provides exceptional medical care for children in Poway, CA. We offer comprehensive, quality-focused services from newborns to college students. Our team of highly qualified, Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. We believe in establishing a provider-parent partnership to ensure the best care for your child. Responsibilities: Outpatient Pediatrics - 2 days per week with parent call EMR: EPIC Must have experience in pediatrics Qualifications: Education: Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified. Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB Licensure/Certification: Current, unrestricted license in the state of California Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required Experience: 2+ years of experience working as a general pediatrics provider is required.
