About the Role:

The Front Desk Agent at Lafont Inn LLC serves as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out experience. This role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression and maintaining high standards of customer service throughout the guest's stay. The Front Desk Agent manages reservations, handles guest inquiries, and resolves any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Additionally, the position requires coordination with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and any guest requests are fulfilled. Ultimately, the Front Desk Agent contributes to the smooth operation of the hotel by maintaining accurate records and supporting overall guest services.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or accommodation services. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with reservation and property management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using hotel management software such as Opera, Maestro, or similar systems. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Certification in hospitality or customer service training programs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of local area attractions and services to provide informed recommendations to guests. Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience. Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests. Process guest check-outs efficiently, including billing and payment handling, while maintaining accurate records. Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner, ensuring all necessary supplies and information are available. Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options. Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.
