$18.00 per hour Wage Increases:
Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with your leader. Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Perform other assigned duties as needed. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases and keep the store clean and organized. Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience. Provide feedback to management on products and inventory issues. Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy. Follow cash policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. Follow merchandising guidelines for optimal display. Organize new inventory and manage empty boxes. Operate machinery safely while adhering to safety procedures. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Ability to stock merchandise, lifting items up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to provide prompt and courteous service. Perform general cleaning duties to company standards. Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively. Excellent verbal communication skills. Work independently and as part of a team. Effective time management skills required. Knowledge of ALDI products and services. Cashier: Efficient and accurate cash register operation is a must. Cashier: Comply with local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. Stock Associate: Safe operation of equipment is necessary. Stock Associate: Must have morning availability for shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
