We currently have an exciting opportunity for Associate, Technical Designer to join our team. This individual is an integral part of creative/fashion design and related processes for Tailored Brands' annual spring and fall menswear collections. This position requires an individual with passion, aptitude, and basic knowledge with respect to men's fashion and clothing/apparel/accessory design. The Associate, Technical Design helps facilitate the realization of the Design team's concepts in one of three product category areas: Tailored, Sportswear, or Furnishings. What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

Identifies internal/technical trim needs Creates RFD (Request For Development) FIT sample requests, track progress and communicate feedback Reviews FIT samples for spec and make construction Updates base size product specifications and POMs based on design revisions/sample/fit iterations/vendor collaboration Creates and manages changes for style details Inputs sewing details Track Records of incoming sample and maintained sample Block Library Evaluates pre-production sample for measurements, fit, construction, overall quality Fosters open communication and team environment with all teammates L.I.O.N. Although the Associate, Technical Design will be assigned to a product category and/or Designer, they may be redeployed to support another Design team as production needs dictate. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Experience

Degree in related field required Five years of experience strongly preferred. Internship included General knowledge of men's fashion Knowledge of electronic pattern software, Gerber Accumark-9, pattern design, explorer preferred Technical knowledge of fabrics, internal trims, and industrial clothing manufacturing techniques Understanding of Time and Action Calendars specific to products being developed Experience in working in a PLM system and willing to learn new software products Highly self-motivated and directed Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment Highly dependable with a strong work ethic Capacity for effective cross-functional collaboration within the organization Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, juggle and execute tasks, and deliver results on strict deadlines Keen attention to detail and demonstrated customer-service focus Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with management and coworkers Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook Authorization to work in the United States for any employer Regular and on-time attendance; Hours can regularly exceed 40 hours per week Must be able to work overtime as needed (position is non-exempt) Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
