Materials Coordination Specialist

As a Materials Coordination Specialist for Utilimaster (an Aebi Schmidt Group Brand), you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials from fabrication to production. Your responsibilities will include monitoring production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing work orders. Core Responsibilities Manage supplier performance and resolve delivery issues effectively. Coordinate engineering changes alongside production schedules. Analyze MRP data to generate precise supplier releases. Maintain optimal inventory levels through strategic PO adjustments. Monitor and update supplier lead times to ensure system accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies. Support packaging initiatives and manage logistics cost control. Identify and mitigate risks associated with parts shortages. Issue, track, and manage work orders to support production needs. Assist with continual monitoring of inventory levels. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business preferred, or equivalent materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of three (3) years of materials planning experience in a manufacturing setting. Understanding of production schedules in a linear assembly environment is preferred. A demonstrated ability to construct and lead cross-functional teams. A reputation for being adaptable, detail-oriented, and attentive to changing priorities.
