$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available, Relocation Reimbursement Available Department Details Shifts are from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, including every other weekend and holiday. Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) will provide compassionate care to residents in long-term care. As a vital part of the nursing team, you will assist in meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents through: Delivering resident-centered nursing care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitoring and recording vital signs, providing emotional support, and helping with personal needs. Assisting residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning, using safe techniques. Creating a positive dining experience, helping residents with meals and promoting hydration. Documenting care provided and communicating any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse. Maintaining cleanliness and assisting with laundry services in residents’ living areas. Promoting participation in wellness and recreational programs, and supporting a friendly environment. Qualifications Applicants should meet the following qualifications: High school graduate or GED preferred but not required. Must be at least 16 years old; prior experience in long-term care is a plus. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required; certification must be obtained within four months of hire if not currently certified. Completion of yearly competency testing and ongoing education is necessary, with a minimum of 12 hours required annually. Registry certification may be needed depending on state requirements.
