Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating departmental functions on the designated shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established protocols, serving as a resource and championing the organization’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with admission and discharge processes for optimal patient care.
Contribute to the assessment of care quality in collaboration with management.
Foster teamwork to improve outcomes and service delivery.
Promote a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery.
Operationalize nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient care.
Support the hiring process and staff training initiatives.
Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation based on patient needs.
Assist with inventory management for supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or commitment to obtain within five years of hire.
Current licensure as a registered nurse in accordance with state regulations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience.
