$3500.00 sign-on bonus! Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role as a caregiver in our long-term care facility, providing compassionate, resident-centered care. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will assist residents with their daily living activities while adhering to care plans that ensure both their physical and psychological well-being. Provide essential care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs and collect non-invasive body fluid specimens. Assist residents with mobility, using proper techniques and equipment for safe transfers. Help prepare meals and create a positive dining experience, assisting residents as necessary. Document resident care, behavior, and dietary intake accurately. Engage residents in wellness and recreational programs to enhance their quality of life. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 16 years old; prior experience in long-term care is a plus. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or must obtain within four months of employment. Commitment to annual continuing education credits (12 hours minimum). Some positions may require a valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
