This position is primarily responsible for the overall inventory management for Deaconess Home Medical Equipment (DHME). Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory, fulfilling order requests, equipment maintenance (e.g. cleaning, checks, facilitating repairs, etc.) and other duties as assigned. This position will work with the HME Inventory Specialist II.

Keep track of inventory at all locations using the company's computer system; count items yearly and check regularly to make sure stock levels are accurate. Has to be very detail oriented. Make sure all inventory, deliveries, and maintenance are recorded correctly in the Brightree system; move inventory and costs between departments as needed. Help create rules to meet healthcare regulations (like FDA, Medicare, DOT); keep records of equipment repairs and handle returns or replacements. Check bills from suppliers to make sure they're correct, label them properly, and send them in for approval. Train staff on how to use equipment and make sure everything flows smoothly from when it arrives to when it's delivered to patients-keeping it clean and ready. Help coworkers, solve customer problems, and work as part of a team to get things done on time and ensure a positive customer experience.

Required Certification/License/Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Minimum of one year relevant experience in inventory management, required valid drivers license
