At Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA), our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are essential in making pet families feel welcomed, informed, and supported from their very first interaction. In this role, you will support our emergency and specialty departments by managing client communication, coordinating appointments, and assisting with essential administrative tasks. Your work will be vital in delivering a seamless experience at our main hospital and business office. As a CSR, you will contribute to this mission by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and effective administrative services. Who We Are We operate a leading specialty and emergency hospital in a state-of-the-art 25,000-square-foot facility designed for complex cases. Our team includes experts from 13 specialty departments, including internal medicine, surgery, and cardiology, providing comprehensive care. Your Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with our teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Key tasks will include: Greeting clients warmly, both over the phone and in person. Scheduling appointments and ensuring accurate follow-up communications. Coordinating medication refills and updating clients on their status. Assisting with billing, payments, and addressing insurance inquiries. Maintaining patient records through accurate data entry. Handling a high volume of calls with a calm and solution-oriented approach. Supporting both front desk and back-office administrative workflows. Providing compassionate support to pet owners during sensitive discussions. Work Schedule This is a full-time position with the following anticipated schedule: Monday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, business office Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM, front desk (includes a 15% shift differential) Thursday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, front desk (includes a 15% shift differential) Friday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM, front desk (includes a 15% shift differential) Sunday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, front desk (includes a 15% shift differential) Compensation and Benefits Starting at $18.00/hour What We Offer At MVA, we prioritize our team’s well-being in the same manner we care for our patients.
