1st Shift

Pay Range $18.50 - $27.75

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent with one year relevant experience. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures and keep informed of changes. 2. Maintains and monitors bed board system by verifying staff on hand during entire shift and allocates human resources to maximize throughput. 3. Communicates with PACU, ED, and patient logistics to monitor needs and communicate staff allocations. 4. Plans and implements logistic plans for volume shifts. 5. Communicates with first, second, and third shift supervisors to transition bed statuses and issues. 6. Monitors bed tracking/bed board and checks with supervisor/staff to assure completion of discharges. Keeps bed turnaround time at 60 minutes or less. 7. Compiles information by gathering and collecting data. Enter data into computer system for future reference. 8. Maintains office operations by responding to routine inquiries. 9. Duplicate and distributes documents.
