Job Overview As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Relativity's network and infrastructure. This position involves investigating and analyzing emerging threats to our assets, identities, and clients, while providing actionable guidance to end users. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled cyber experts, leveraging world-class toolsets to anticipate and counter evolving threats. Key Responsibilities Review, validate, and triage alerts, providing technical analysis of log data from various sensors and threat intelligence sources. Analyze the impact of security events using host, cloud, and network-based indicators to escalate incidents effectively. Serve as the primary escalation point for cyber security incidents, driving investigations to completion. Conduct real-time analysis of correlated logs and alerts to identify security incidents. Proactively search through collected telemetry to identify advanced threats that bypass existing security measures. Contribute to the development of incident handling policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards. Engage in continuous research of emerging threats and implement appropriate countermeasures. Act as a subject matter expert in the analysis of malicious activities. Tune alerting systems consistently and support junior team members in detection engineering. Maintain security infrastructure and ensure tooling configurations are kept up to date. Assist with ongoing projects as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional/military experience. 3+ years of experience in Incident Response, Incident Analysis, or Computer Forensics. Familiarity with industry-standard security devices and their configurations. Experience analyzing malicious code and understanding infection mechanisms. Proficient in scripting languages for information security tasks. A strong work ethic and a passion for Cyber Security. Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, CEH) are preferred. Experience in a global SaaS environment. Understanding of the legal sector, specifically e-discovery and litigation processes. Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS. Minimum Qualifications Proven cyber incident response skills, including network forensics and packet analysis. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, network services, and cryptography. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to enhance Relativity's security posture. Knowledge of attacker methods and tools for accessing private systems and data. Demonstrated capability to prioritize and manage complex security events independently. Understanding of infection mechanisms and mitigating controls. Relativity values competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position offers a competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $104,000 and $156,000. Final offers will depend on experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.
