Overview:
Seeking an experienced
Elastic Engineer
to join a technically advanced, full-spectrum cyber and data operations initiative supporting U.S. Government customers. This role is part of a team of Data Analytic Engineers focused on enhancing and sustaining an Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) environment with a strong emphasis on data onboarding, content development, and visualization.

This position requires all candidates to be
U.S. Citizens
and
possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities
Build data pipelines to ingest external datasets into Elastic products.
Design, deploy, and maintain the ELK platform.
Install and configure ELK components including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
Use Elasticsearch APIs, indices, and Kibana dashboards for data analysis and visualization.
Develop or integrate plug-ins for authentication and authorization.
Integrate ELK with enterprise tools and APIs.
Implement complex development use cases using Python, Groovy, Bash, or similar languages.
Monitor Elastic Search clusters using appropriate tools.
Ensure technical accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
Qualifications Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. [Ten (10) years of experience (for a total of eighteen (18) or more years) may be substituted for a degree.]
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Required Skills
2+ years of experience as an Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) admin or equivalent
2+ years of experience with Elasticsearch Domain Specific Language (DSL)
5+ years of experience with Kubernetes architecture
Strong knowledge of the ELK stack
Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash
Desired Skills
Experience working in an agile development environment
Experience supporting federal customers
Desired Certifications
DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I (e.g., CISSP)
Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master)
Elastic certifications:
