- Full Time, Permanent The role is with Cambridge GaN Devices (CGD), a fabless semiconductor company that develops energy-efficient GaN-based power devices to enable greener electronics. CGD is a spin-out of Cambridge University with a global sales team and a focus on power semiconductors for automotive and other markets. The Opportunity

This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing global sales team, developing and capitalising on business opportunities, selling CGD\'s leading ICeGaN products and technology into targeted markets demanding increased performance and reliability. The role will be based in the Detroit area and will focus on working with Tier 1 automotive clients and OEMs in the local area, as well as other areas in the US as demand grows. You will have a blank canvas to work with, and the opportunity to be the first NA salesperson within CGD. You will be part of the world-wide sales team reporting to the SVP Sales and will work with your colleagues to define and agree product roadmaps, customer and revenue plans and ensure that the sales team delivers and hits agreed targets. Main Responsibilities

Lead all sales and business development activities in the North America region, developing a focused customer strategy aligned with CGD global targets (initially automotive primary, data centres secondary). Own end-to-end sales process: planning, forecasting, reporting; solely responsible for NA sales and business development, including customer engagement and sales ops tasks. Create a pan-regional channel strategy, and prepare long-range sales plans and current forecasts. Serve as the main point of contact for customer issues within North America. Identify new opportunities within North America, primarily in the automotive space; work cross-functionally to convert funnel to revenue. Manage the sales pipeline (Opportunity, DI, DW, BW) with data maintained in Salesforce. Identify market leaders in target verticals; manage distribution channel to drive demand creation. Nurture customer relationships to develop case studies for marketing. Engage with C-level at top target customers; conduct Channel QBRs with monitored metrics and action plans; gather customer satisfaction feedback via dashboards. Support for technical content by FAE and/or Technical Marketing. Requirements

Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience developing new business within the automotive and/or semiconductor industry, particularly at a regional level Excellent experience identifying potential new clients and developing strong business relationships Experience analysing market trends and competitor behaviour Ability to communicate with technologists and identify customer value-add Excellent negotiating and closing skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strategic thinking Willing to travel Desirable

Experience selling in the power semiconductors or GaN space Experience selling power-related technology to a range of stakeholders (technical, commercial, executive, partners, resellers) Experience in a high-growth environment with interfacing across R&D Engineering and Operations Additional European languages Company Context
