Develop robust business strategies and collaborate seamlessly with internal resources throughout the sales process. Lead the new business sales team to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline that exceeds annual sales targets for large employer groups. Visit key brokers along with sales account executives and/or senior leadership to develop new and maintain strong relationships to result in sales growth opportunities. Act as a trusted consultant and advisor to external parties, gaining valuable insights into producer and employer group pain points and buying needs. Manage and support prospect intake, stop loss quoting, and competitive proposal development for prospective self-funded and/or shared-funded clients. Collaborate with team members and accurately forecast sales. Understand the competitive landscape and work with counterparts across the company to position the sales team effectively to drive new business. Conduct regular meetings with the Vice President and other C-Suite leaders to ensure alignment with the client organization's strategy and goals. Gather prospect feedback and collaborate with internal teams to shape product and pricing strategy. Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related area required. Ten plus (10+) years of healthcare experience with a strong background in health plans and TPAs. Experience in health plan delivery (working in a plan or servicing a plan), including consultants, benefit administrators, and/or PBM administration. Demonstrated experience managing large complex accounts and implementations. Strong background in quota attainment and performance. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. Ability to travel approximately 50% within the Michigan market. High skill levels in written and verbal excellence in business writing, listening, and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation and poise. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and thrive on accountability. Strong analytical skills, computer skills (including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and proven negotiation skills. Comfortable engaging or leading sessions without having all the information on hand. EEO Statement
