TDK Corporation of America is seeking a highly skilled sales professional to sell and manage TDK Factory Automation products and services to dedicated accounts.
Position Summary:
Develops sales strategy, communicates forecast of assigned accounts, and achieves continuous customer satisfaction and targeted sales goals by performing successful sales activities. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding both their technical requirements and business objectives. Align and monitor strategic engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the customer’s satisfaction. Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product development teams to drive continuous improvement of product offerings. Participates in defining product strategy and provide and maintain accurate sales forecast aligned with customers and provides feedback to management. Manage sales activities for assigned accounts as primary point-of-contact for existing product as well as new product introduction. Contributes to develop plans and strategies to sell TDK products to capitalize on growth and new market share. Negotiate price, receive purchase order and follow up with delivery, working closely with order management and factory. Participate in machine configuration and product specifications with engineering team to ensure conformity with machine in time frame and communicate changes, if any, to secure the project. Collaborate with internal teams to design and customize solution for customer that meet the unique needs of the customers. Plan and organizes customer visits and align objectives with all relative managements and departments involved. Report outcomes, define and track actions plan. Monitors cash collection status and escalate past due payments when needed. Maintains appropriate account database including key customer decision makers, org charts and all relevant information related to customers business/projects. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field or a related field preferred but not necessary. Experience: 3 to 5 years of job experience in semiconductor industry or related technical field. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of effectively interacting with customers at both executive and working levels and with internal teams. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and explain to customers. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering quality results. Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution. Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.
